Jumped into the warm L.A. spring and then for a couple of days into summer, in Desert Hot Springs.<\/p>\n<p>Now back to some Los Angeles rain and clouds, it\u2019s totally uncool, man. Winter to end of spring to summer to start of spring. In terms of timeline it\u2019s pretty disturbing, actually.<\/p>\n<p>Still coding, learning through Unity. It\u2019s fascinating, frustrating as hell, it really feels like I can do <em>everything<\/em> but everything is so tedious. Welcome to coding, I guess. I\u2019ll write about it soon, showing how much game tools are shaped to create universes and worlds, not games. I just can\u2019t give up but holy molly shit, it\u2019s quite hard for a designer.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m thankful to be able to follow the sun as I want to.<\/p>\n<p>I finished <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/04\/24\/books\/review\/book-review-ice-a-memoir-of-gangster-life-and-redemption-by-ice-t.html\" target=\"_blank\">Ice T\u2019s book<\/a> (the terrifyingly cold but also warm heart of an orphan, I dig) and attacked <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Hit-Me-Fred-Recollections-Sideman\/dp\/0822329093\" target=\"_blank\">Fred Wesley\u2019s biography<\/a> (this dude wanted to play bebop and all he got was James Brown and inventing Funk).
