No need to reinforce my beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>I watched the last one though:<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QC6oxBLXtkU\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe>  <\/p>\n<p>I knew about this 80s\/90s sexism. I played those games. I thought at that time \u2013being between 10 to 20- that it was kind of amusing and lame at the same time. Whatevs, we\u2019ll grow up. I didn\u2019t realize how far we had gone rolling the same stupid ass sexist shit all the way up to 2015. <\/p>\n<p>Damn Capcom and your Resident Evil DLC, damn Kojima and MGS IV. And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rockpapershotgun.com\/2015\/09\/09\/metal-gear-solid-v-the-phantom-pain-quiet\/\" target=\"_blank\">MGS V<\/a> (thanks RPS for doing the work). <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Quiet\u2019s depiction doesn\u2019t intrude on what I love about the game, and I\u2019m accustomed to accepting and acknowledging a certain level of unnecessary bullshit or tone deaf unpleasantness in the pop culture I enjoy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Fair enough. I think it\u2019s sad that it\u2019s the only thing in that game that is unacceptable and that could have been changed easily, with just some common sense. But they keep it. It\u2019s deliberate and it\u2019s stupid.<\/p>\n<p>Two decades of graphic arms race, we\u2019re still drawing boobs and shoving them in our faces. Half the population doesn\u2019t care. Imagine dicks in your game, every year more bouncy, for that long. You\u2019d be tired too.<\/p>\n<p>The argument that it\u2019s all just fun and silliness is the oldest trick in the book. To me the issue is not the male gaze so much \u2013I\u2019m a dude and I like boobs- it\u2019s more the childish, boy side of it that annoys the fuck out of me.
