It was done by 2015. Two years later, not only computers can beat the best Go players in the world but it\u2019s done with ten times less power. Last month the games were close but ultimately the machine won and probably would forever. <a href=\"http:\/\/theconversation.com\/no-more-playing-games-alphago-ai-to-tackle-some-real-world-challenges-78472\" target=\"_blank\">AlphaGo is retiring<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s very difficult to grasp what Google learned here but it\u2019s probably prodigious. Damn.<\/p>\n<p>Other news, they just announced <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/5_nanometer\" target=\"_blank\">5nm process<\/a> ready for chips, which is a staggering achievement. That\u2019s 3 times smaller than the current 14nm top of the line, still pretty rare. We cram 5 billion transistors in current chips, we will be able to go for 30B in a few years. That\u2019s a lot of computing power guys, I try to imagine it. I can\u2019t. I think it will be enough for machines to take over <em>everything<\/em>. Of course, there\u2019s more innovation \u2013that we don\u2019t know yet- to come. I mean.<\/p>\n<p>Your kids will not have any jobs. You should probably not have kids and if you do, don\u2019t be surprised if they basically become Wall-E\u2019s humans.
