Or how we like to see this company.<\/p>\n<p>-Innovative.<\/p>\n<p>-Creative.<\/p>\n<p>-About art.<\/p>\n<p>-Etc.<\/p>\n<p>But them, they just <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamasutra.com\/view\/news\/317048\/Nintendo_says_innovation_is_a_byproduct_of_its_creative_process.php\" target=\"_blank\">see themselves as a business<\/a>. And I always felt that way too. The business of making entertainment. It\u2019s a thing in the West: business \u2013finance and money- is separated from the craft, as if they were unrelated. Somehow! Except that they\u2019re tied together.<\/p>\n<p>Look at Nintendo Labo. It\u2019s a very lucrative idea. It\u2019s not just fun. It\u2019s also cheap to use cardboard. Nintendo just tries things out, executives ponder and greenlit the best ideas \u2013probably always on the basis that it\u2019s affordable\/profitable- and we scream \u201cOMG\u201d. It\u2019s interesting. Fetishism? Maybe.<\/p>\n<p>Nintendo isn\u2019t shy on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamasutra.com\/view\/news\/317425\/Nintendos_new_president_wants_to_turn_mobile_into_900M_business.php\" target=\"_blank\">making money as a goal though<\/a>. They are about that, too, and foremost. For some reason when we talk about Apple people are fine with the idea of this company making money but when it comes to Nintendo, we\u2019re quiet. They\u2019re about putting smiles on people\u2019s faces right?<\/p>\n<p>Yeah. And also printing money. Both goals being completely intertwined.
