People absolutely hating Insta yet <em>\u201chaving to\u201d<\/em> be there. The UI\/UX redesign bull\u2019 every now and then. Twitter Facebook and YouTube being instruments of mass \u201crewiring\u201d. The conspiracies, documentaries about social media showing how gross this entire social media thing is, the censorship, etc.<\/p>\n<p>We need a solution.<\/p>\n<p>I see a lot of laughs about the idea of going back to the open web, where I post this. <em>\u201cNo one will be back, good luck!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Well there\u2019s this thing that I thought would absolutely never come back and totally did: <strong>vinyl records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>What would prevent people to have url links on their phone homescreens? Go check that blog that provides some perspective, once a week. This other one every two days. Do you, break from the algo.<\/p>\n<p>What would prevent people to subscribe to blogs (<a href=\"http:\/\/har0ld.com\/playground\/feed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here\u2019s mine<\/a>) with their feed readers like it\u2019s 2010? Nothing. Nothing at all. Everything works just as before if not better, considering how much more powerful our devices are today.<\/p>\n<p>Newsletters? I don\u2019t think email is great to receive periodic content. It\u2019s a communication tool, after all. But there\u2019s this option too.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, do you know why you\u2019re supposed to be on the open web instead of billionaires\u2019 soul-sucking, greedy ass networks?<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/har0ld.com\/see\/uploads\/big\/828ce4037a8d2180ef98dcef77049319.gif\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dude, get on the open web asap.
