For now, I am torn about it! <\/p>\n<p>First, it must be said that they probably met so many issues and hurdles shooting it over the past two years that it\u2019s kind of a miracle that it\u2019s here. Respect.<\/p>\n<p>Second, I guess the fact that this season happens in Europe does make it colder. In every way.<\/p>\n<p>Third, they have a formula now and they simply use it. That makes sense.<\/p>\n<p>So, it\u2019s not as special as before. We know the tone.<\/p>\n<p>But I think what bothers me a bit, is the mix of real stories laced into the narrative. I don\u2019t know. It seems dangerous. I understand re-writing the story of <a href=\"https:\/\/melmagazine.com\/en-us\/story\/the-sad-strange-life-and-death-of-devonte-hart-the-crying-black-boy-who-famously-hugged-a-cop-2\">Devonte Hart<\/a> but the real story is way sadder and still present time. I understand using the Tesla lawsuit as a trampoline to speak about reparations, but I feel like it\u2019s way too close to use in a fictional world.<\/p>\n<p>It makes me uncomfortable. I\u2019m not in an adventure with Earn Al, Van and Darius, wondering what\u2019s going to happen. I\u2019m watching knowing what it is about. Ep 3 was too obvious to me. It\u2019s less fiction and more Black Mirror, I guess.<\/p>\n<p>I mean, near-future dystopia or dystopia have been a big market\/culture for a while now.<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s less enjoyable to me. With this season I travel \u2014feeling wise less and that\u2019s an issue. I want to be back in ATL, wondering where we going, with a smile or a lolwtf??? on my face.<\/p>\n<p>Shoutout to the sound design team as usual.
