I\u2019m alive and enjoying every second of my life\u2014it\u2019s the little things etc\u2014, so the entire movie didn\u2019t do anything to me besides being annoying and making me anxious.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, beautifully rendered but that\u2019s when it is so expected, it\u2019s not even a feature anymore. Very nice sound design as well. As usual.<\/p>\n<p>The Last Dinosaur was weird pace and consistency wise, and Onward\u2019s main characters are quite insufferable. But Soul, due to hitting close and being so lovely when it starts, really made me do a weird face for the rest of the movie.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/har0ld.com\/see\/uploads\/big\/893851dd0779c9c2cbdcab90efb1123a.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/har0ld.com\/see\/uploads\/big\/d6929ac19facf5587c2dfeba76b0b369.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I also think we\u2019re hitting a <em>\u201ctoo realistic environment with cartoon characters in it\u201d<\/em> vibes and it\u2019s on the edge of uncanny valley. Some of the skin in Coco had given me the creeps already.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/har0ld.com\/see\/uploads\/big\/fbd7652ccc4b577f9fb4f71ddcbe843d.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now that 3D is perfect, man, I want much more coherent and interesting scenarios and stories, aimed at a curious and <strong>grown<\/strong> population. Some not-possible-before shots of romantic escapades, some ultra funny and irreverent weed-related joint (smoke effects y\u2019all!!), I don\u2019t know but, I think we\u2019re all super ready for that.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe I\u2019ll go see LightYear next week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I heavily disliked Pixar\u2019s Soul.
