Credit card companies are anti-porn.

Yes, because men buy porn and then dispute buying porn and credit cards have to work and lose money because of that. I don’t know anyone who ever bought any sexual content online, but I guess there are enough of those people for credit card companies to attempt to blame them (because on the other side, they’re happy for those sales when those go through, right?).

App stores, particularly Apple’s, are anti-porn. You should stop using App stores, completely. They’re worst than a dictator’s wet dream.

Today 40% of our signups and 85% of our page views come from people on mobile apps, not on the web.

You should stop using your phone, as much as possible. Any images or videos are better on a bigger screen and if that fosters a world where there’s no company dictating your life, then please go on and jump on a laptop.

Your accountability is that you need to be pro-active on this.

If Tumblr goes back to 85% of page views from the web, they can tell Apple “I don’t need your neurotic ass anymore” and HEHE their way out of this nightmare. You can’t lobby trillion-dollar companies, but the web is here. It is here.

At a friend’s place a few years ago.

In 2007, living in France, I had a conversation with my parents about cannabis. I told them that it was crucial to legalize it and to move forward this goal, because underground economies were betting bigger and bigger and that at some point, this would yield massive violence.

Marseille 2022. 24 dead this year, 30 last year. I hear about torture, amputation and funny stuff like that.

All French people under 50 are accountable here. Y’all really did nothing. Great.

How come Germany, a not so cool country and culture, is thinking very seriously about legalizing but France has completely failed to move a millimeter toward the same goal, I don’t know.

I have ideas though.

Thankful to have a few Iran-born women friends in my life. Rock solid, very generous people.

Reading about “morality police” makes me feel so angry at men. One of those very rare occasion where I’d like to be Superman, fly real quick over there, announce that “all men imposing shit on women are going to get their ass beat so hard, they’ll only have the ability to sit down and be quiet afterwards, for eternity”, and then thoroughly proceed through the ass whooping, smiling.

40 years of this shit. Leave women alone, what’s so hard about that goddamn.

 

This wasn’t easy but finally, hardware acceleration for my laptop on Windows 8.

One machine left to downgrade.

Why would I go through pain to use Windows 8 in 2022? Well this year I’ve been using most desktop OSes pretty deeply and it turns out, I’m completely over updating constantly and losing my settings left and right, as if MY computer wasn’t mine at all. That, and bad performance showing up for no other reason but updates. Totally over and sick of this. Peace of mind is important.

8’s great as hell. There’s none snappier. I’ll install stand alone stuff, a bunch of great games that run perfectly fine on that hardware like Noita, Monkey Island or CS:GO, and run this laptop until it dies dies.

So, this happened again.

This is was my neighbor’s car. Perfectly parked. Absolutely ruined. I saw her before seeing her car, and she was fine, about to walking her dog.

How did she park, get out of the car and DOESN’T HAVE NO NECK BRACES OR SOMETHING (note for the smart asses: her boyfriend looked fine too and has his own car anyway). Not a cast on her left leg or a bruise on her face. Nothing, except that her car 100% looks like she should not be walking her dog the next morning.

How do you even start the car/drive with six airbags out. I need Ja Rule.

It’s just people not wearing masks and using sick days out of nowhere.
