Three things where society makes us think that we are way different when actually, we SO are not. We are so much more the same than different. Just facts.
On physical abilities
Men are stronger on average, sure. But when women are allowed to train just as much as men —and that only happened extremely recently, since the 1970s—, they are basically as strong. Check this marathon chart with men and then women:
See how by 1970 women were allowed to train and how it dramatically changed everything? That’s my point.
Men and women can run a marathon in around two hours. Physically both able to do so. We the same.
On bitching
From my dude perspective, men bitch as much as women, but louder. Go to any forum, reddit sub, whatever communities with mostly men? Well, mfs are constantly bitching about anything: programming syntax, which basketball player deserves to be an all-star, top 5 DBZ battles etc. They will say women love to bitch but men will write 900-word comments to strangers about fantasy football picks. There’s so much bitching. We all are addicted to drama. We all bitch, just like I am right now. Men thinking that we’re much better, haven’t lived enough or haven’t been honest enough. Or both. Probably both.
On sex
Just like physical abilities, we’re the same. Wired the same. The entire spectrum of sexuality is available to women too. Same desire spectrum. Same needs spectrum. Same nerves ending at the same locations, triggering the same pleasure for men. Isn’t that odd how hard we try to differentiate men and women libido when we share 99.9% of flesh? Did you know that men and women’s orgasms pulse at about the same rate, with rhythmic contractions around 8-13Hz? Yessir.
It boringly makes sense that women and men are roughly equivalent in what we want and what we need from sex. Cultures and societies simply mess it all up, lying and making things up for us to believe.
Obviously for the rest, intelligence, achievements, cruelty and whatnot, it’s clear that women and men are equal. So I hate hearing, from before I was born to now that women doing a job are paid less than men doing the same job. Still. Like, how the FUCK is that still the case in the world of wireless HD videos of random people fighting at a football game? We should have had women being paid the same as men for the same job before the world of wireless HD videos of random people fighting at a football game happened, is all I’m saying.
Men and women are the same and it’s time that we act accordingly. It’ll make things easier.
